Originally developed by 2 of the top property developers in Singapore – City Developments Ltd and WingTai, Nouvel 18 received its completion back in November 2014.
Both property developers have a remarkable track record in the luxury property segment, with newer projects such as Boulevard 88, Le Nouvel Ardmore and Gramercy Park making headlines all over the papers as being well-received by the highly affluent class of buyers.

Nouvel 18 Review
Since its completion back in 2014, the wonderful reputation enjoyed by Nouvel 18 is a testament to what a great luxury living experience it has to offer.
Here’s my personal Nouvel 18 review and I’ll share with you some of my thoughts and experiences when visiting this luxury condo project.
First of all, Nouvel 18 is probably one of the most iconic residential developments in the Ardmore precinct – among the likes of Sculptura Ardmore and Le Nouvel Ardmore, which in my opinion are all architectural masterpieces.
When I first stepped into the condominium, immediately I knew I was in for a real treat.
Starting off at the ground floor exploring some of the communal facilities, I was totally amazed by the poshness of the clubhouse and grandeur of the swimming pool.
Every inch and every quarter of the clubhouse at Nouvel 18 and its facilities simply resembles one of those extravagant hotels and it really sets the tone of what is to be expected within the residence itself.
As I’ve continued my tour upstairs into the residential apartments, I was immediately drawn to the spectacular views of the surroundings. It is just unreal.
Not only do you get an unobstructed view of the city skyline, but you will also get a boundless greenery view of the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve stretching more than 3,000 hectares.
Within the apartment units for sale at Nouvel 18, everything is the real deal of a high-end residential development. From top-grade marble floors throughout the living and dining area to superior timber floors in the bedrooms, the word ‘luxury’ is practically written all over the place.
Here are some pictures for one of the Nouvel 18 showflats.
If I have to pick on something, one would be the design of the unit layouts. You will find tons of bay windows and structural concrete beams which are mostly in the bedroom areas, and extra balcony spaces specifically in the master bedrooms for a majority of the unit types available.
I believe the design of these layouts were constrained by the architectural design of the Nouvel 18’s condo facade. Thus, these are probably the best layout designs possible.
Another con would be the lack of a utility room – specifically for the bigger unit types. 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom, or even penthouse units generally appeal more to families and I would say chances are these families ( usually the affluent ones) have a domestic helper helping them out.
Other than for storage purposes, the utility room (of the proper size and ventilation) is being used as the bedroom for the helper most of the time. Thus, without a utility room, I am not sure how are the families going to house their helpers. They would probably have to sacrifice one of the bedrooms in their home for the helper.
Nevertheless, Nouvel 18 is still considered one of the top properties to consider if you are on the lookout for luxury homes in Singapore. Here are some of the conventional reasons.
- A freehold luxurious and functional project.
- Sits within the prime district 10, thus has excellent investment potential.
- Dwellers get to choose amidst a good mix of units.
- Unblocked and gorgeous city views can be enjoyed from these condos.
- Centrally located from the major educational institutions, leisure, and recreational facilities.
As evident, Nouvel 18 is definitely an absolute delight for anyone with a taste for luxury.
