The Le Nouvel Ardmore by Wing Tai Holdings have once again made the headlines in the luxury residential property segment. A recent deal saw a 5,242 sqft apartment fetched a whopping S$21 million (or S$4,006 psf) – which may only be the 6th unit sold in this 43-unit high-end project by the developer.
The architectural design of this residential projects was masterminded by Jean Novel, who won the Pritzker Architecture Prize back in year 2008.

According to reports, the new owner is believed to be one of Indonesia’s Top 50 richest man, Mr Trihatma Haliman – who is in control of the Indonesia property group, PT Agung Podomoro Land (APLN).
It was only last year when Le Nouvel Ardmore made waves in the prime district by the sale of its 13,875 sqft penthouse to Alibaba Group’s co-founder, Mr Sun Tongyu for a record high of $51 million (or S$3,676 psf) then.
As the project received its TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit) back in April 2014, developer Wing Tai has already been hit with heavy extension charges as it couldn’t sell all of its units at Le Nouvel Ardmore with the 2-year deadline stipulated under the Singapore’s Qualifying Certificate (QC) rules.
